Adult Beverages on the Disney Cruise Line

I take my role as a blogger very seriously. When I find out good information, tips and tricks, or other good to know items, I must share them with you. It's my duty, as you are my lovely and faithful readers!

In the spirit of this, I have taken it upon myself to showcase some of the most delicious adult beverages on the Disney Cruise Line. Because I'm a giver like that.

:) I love my job!

Here are some of the drinks from the last few cruises; some were drink of the day offerings, and others were special orders at the bar. We also took part in a mixology class and got to experience how to make mixed drinks, shots and specialty drinks such as Bellinis. YUM!

As you scroll through the pictures, just imagine you're on one of the four DCL ships, enjoying your beverage as the world rolls by. Calgon - take me away!

It's All in the Details: Artwork on the Disney Fantasy

If you spend any time at a Disney theme park, resort, or on the Disney Cruise Line, you'll notice pretty quickly that the attention to detail is second to none.  One of my favorite parts about any trip is taking time to see all those details.

The pictures below showcase some of the gorgeous artwork on Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Fantasy.  They depict famous scenes from Disney movies as well as beloved Disney characters. The pictures below are just a fraction of the artwork on the ship; when I am able to go on the Fantasy again, I hope to check out more!

Memories of Sunnier Days....

Since it's FREEZING here (and in many parts of the country, as well), I wanted to post some sunny, bright, warm pictures to cheer us all up and remind us that eventually, summer will come again and it won't be 5 degrees and chilly forever.

(Those of you who are lucky enough to live in warm weather climates & are laughing right now, I can hear you.)

The pictures below were taken during the June 2013 cruise that I took on the Disney Fantasy, when we stopped at St. Maarten and St. Thomas.  Gorgeous, tropical places that I can't wait to see again.

Maybe I'll crank the heat in the house and pretend I'm there again!

Reminiscing about the Disney Fantasy

I took the picture below this past June at Cabanas, a restaurant on the Disney Fantasy.  At Cabanas you can grab a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items in buffet-style dining.   There is a ton of variety from salads to soups, pizza, pasta dishes and sandwiches, items for the kids and of course desserts.  Cause you're on vacation, and calories don't count.  (That's the way it works, right?)

This breathtaking, colorful, intricate mosaic mural (depicting scenes and characters from Finding Nemo) is so beautiful and, in true Disney fashion, incredibly detailed.   If you get the chance to sail the Fantasy, be sure to take a minute to stop and admire this incredible piece of art.
