Get "Inside Out" at the Flower and Garden Festival!

When I went to Epcot in April, there was a fun display, an Emotion Garden, for the upcoming Pixar animated movie, "Inside Out", as part of the Flower and Garden Festival displays.

It featured plants and flowers as each of the emotions shown in the movie: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust.

I took some pictures to share with all of your - check them out! And be sure to mark the weekend of June 19th on your calendar, as that's opening weekend for this newest Pixar flick! I can't wait to see it!

Have a magical day!

Crossin' Off Another Resort...

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Here we are, now firmly in April and Spring is upon us! We're been having GORGEOUS weather - - I have to say, Spring is my favorite season.

In just a few weeks, I'm headed to Orlando for a long weekend to see some friends and go to the Flower and Garden Festival. I'm staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the bulk of the trip, but I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED to tell you.....I'll also be crossing off another resort on my "I've never stayed there before" list.

You guys - - I get to stay at one of the brand-spanking-new, hasn't lost that new-resort-smell Polynesian Villas. Yahoo!!

For those who might not know - - they just completed work on adding Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Villa rooms to the Polynesian resort, and they look AMAZING. Just incredible. As you can imagine, being that they're new AND within spitting distance of the Magic Kingdom means these babies are going fast and reservations are hard to come by, even for DVC members.

My lovely friend (and Mouse World Travel co-worker) Ellen was heading down a few days before me, and staying at one of the Studio rooms at the new Villas. When we realized we were going to be there about the same time, she graciously invited me to stay with her in the Studio room. A short flight adjustment later, and BAM! Here I come, Polynesian!

Of course, I'll be taking skillions of pictures and video and posting those while I'm down in Orlando, so be sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

What resorts are on your Disney "bucket list"? Where have you always DREAMED of staying? Share here and online!

Have a magical day!

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Last week, I got to experience the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Since we were staying at the Yacht Club Resort for the Agent Education conference, it was a quick 5 minute walk over to Epcot and so we were there quite a few times.

There are gorgeous flowers and plants, topiaries of your favorite Disney characters, as well as seminars and talks by those in-the-know in the gardening world.   There are also food and drink kiosks, similar to what they have for the Food and Wine festival in the fall.  (In the French pavilion, you HAVE to get the Vie en Rose frozen cocktail.  Those were THE BOMB.)

Me and my girl Ellen visited this place a few times!
It was so great to be able to see things blooming, and green grass!

There are lots of things to see and enjoy, so kick back, grab a Vie en Rose and walk through Epcot with me!

(Who wants more play areas like this at Disney?! Wouldn't that be great?!)

There is also merchandise available during F&G - I purchased a Mickey paver stone for my front yard!  And never fear about carrying that bad boy home on the plane - for a reasonable shipping fee, Disney will mail it to your house!

I just loved this Mary Poppins topiary!

I was glad I got to experience Flower & Garden Festival, and I'm hoping I can get to Orlando for a long weekend in 2015 to experience it again.

Hope you all have a magical weekend!
