Hello again, everyone!  Welcome to the first Feature Friday of 2014 - woo hoo!!

Before we get into the links and fun information - GOOD LUCK to everyone running in the Disney World Full and 1/2 Marathons this weekend at Walt Disney World in Orlando!  We're cheering for you!

Animals Enjoy Holiday Fun Too at Walt Disney World Resort:  Don't worry, the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom weren't left out of the holiday festivities!  Check out Disney made sure their holidays were merry & bright.

A Pinch of Pixie Dust - Disney Princesses Give Advice on Finding a Price Charming:  Ms. Emma over at A Pinch of Pixie Dust has a GREAT Disney blog filled with awesome information, fun pictures and delicious Disney dessert pictures.  One of her most recent posts caught my attention; she chatted with the Disney Princesses to get their input on how to find Prince Charming.  So sweet (and some pretty great advice)!

Behind the Scenes - Designing and Painting the Seven Dwarf Mine Train: The Seven Dwarf Mine Train is the newest attraction coming to Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom, and is set to debut later this spring!  Take a look at neat behind-the-scenes video about what goes into creating a new attraction at Disney World.

Here we are, at another Friday!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and now onward to New Years!

Here are some pieces of information that I thought you might find interesting:

* Disney Parks Blog - Top Five Entertainment at Disney Parks in 2013:  The Disney Parks blog is highlighting their choices for the Top 5 Entertainment features at the Disney Parks over the past year. Do you agree with their list?  Was one of YOUR favorites left off this list?

* A service dog meets Pluto aboard the Disney Fantasy: Check out this ADORABLE video of a service dog, meeting and interacting with Pluto while onboard the Disney Fantasy.  So much cuteness, I can't stand it!

Happy Friday to you - the last Friday before Christmas! If you're traveling this weekend and celebrating the holidays, I hope you have lots of fun!

Here are some fun items I found this week...

A Croissant or a Donut?  Take a Taste at Epcot: Oh man ALIVE I will have to get my hiney to Epcot this trip.  They will have available, brace yourself - their homage to the famous CRONUT.  The cross between the croissant and donut that people in NYC stand in line for HOURS for.  YUMMO.

Sweet Tidings from Disney Parks: Take a look at the awesome Gingerbread houses at Disney's Aulani, Disney Cruise Line and the Disney Resorts!  (I made a gingerbread house this year and mine looked NOTHING like those!)

YouTube video - WestJet Christmas Miracle:  You might be one of the over 6 million people who's viewed this video from WestJet airlines but if you haven't, take a few minutes to watch this airline surprise passengers with some of their Christmas wishes.   Very sweet and moving - way to go, WestJet!

Disney.com - What Your Packing Style Says About You: I was all over this.  What DOES my packing style say?  Packrat?  The "just in case" traveler?  I want to say I'm a Galatic Hero, but in truth I am probably a Classic Romantic.  Check out the article on Disney.com and share in the comments, what kind of travel packer are YOU?

ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas - Toy Story Marathon TODAY!:  Starting at 4:30pm/3:30pm central is the Toy Story Movie Marathon over on ABC Family, part of their 25 Days of Christmas movies.  So pop some popcorn, snuggle in those blankets on the couch and hang out with Woody, Buzz and the gang!  (And be sure you have some tissues nearby for Toy Story 3! Sniff!)

Hello, everyone and happy Friday!  Welcome to another Feature Friday post.  Take a look, and let me know what you think!

A new children's book from Disney Imagineer Jason Grandt:  What a great storybook to add to your family's collection!  The 128-page, hardback book was written and illustrated by Disney Imagineer Jason Grandt. It retails for $19.99 and will be available in select locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland (or, if you're not going to be in FL or CA in the near future, the link includes information on how to order it via phone or e-mail).  I can't wait to pick up my copy when I'm at Walt Disney World later this month!

Chip and Co - Top 10 Disney Dining Snack Credit Buys at Disney World: Chip and Company has a great article on their site about their top recommendations for snack credits at Walt Disney World.  If you purchase the Disney Dining Plan (we'll cover this in more detail in future posts), you will have snack credits to use each day and they give some great options as to what is the best value for those credits.

Pocket Princessess: If you want hilarious artwork featuring the Disney Princesses on your Facebook newsfeed each Friday, Like the Pocket Princesses page on Facebook.

Happy Friday to you!  I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. (Who else is in a post-Thanksgiving food stupor?)  If you're Black Friday shopping, best of luck; may the force be with you!  My day-after-Thanksgiving usually consists of sleeping in, putting up the Christmas tree, and generally being lazy around the house.

Since we can now officially start the countdown to the holiday season (even though I have secretly been listening to Kelly Clarkson's new Christmas album for about 2 weeks now - OMG it's so good!!), today I'm featuring links and information to get you in the holiday spirit.

DisneyFamily.com - Christmas Crafts & Recipes:  This link from Disney Family has some great craft projects and recipes as well as printables, games and more!  My personal favorite is Minnie's Polka-Dot Wreath; SO adorable!

Chamilia Jewelry - Disney Beads:  I absolutely LOVE my Chamilia bracelet (thank you to my friend Anita for letting me know about them)!  They have a great selection of Disney beads, as well as other gorgeous beads to make your bracelet look super special and lovely.  Right now I have about 5 beads, and my plan is to add one to my bracelet each time I go to Disney or sail on Disney Cruise Line, as a memento of my trips.   They're also great to give as gifts, and then add beads for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Bring a Disney Christmas Home - The Disney Parks Blog: Check out this great article on the Disney Parks blog about how you can order fun and festive Disney decorative items and gifts!  (Isn't that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Tree adorable?!)

* Mickey Tips by Brook Wozniak - Aulani Updates:  Brook is one of my dear Disney friends and a colleague of mine at Mouse World Travel.  All of her blog is fabulous but check out this entry in particular about the recent upgrades at the Aulani resort in Hawaii. (Calgon, take me away!)

* Disney Parks Blog - The Grumpy Cat Meets Grumpy at Disneyland: What do you get when you bring the famous Grumpy Cat together with Grumpy at Disneyland?  Pure magic, that's what.  Check out this funny (and sweet!) video of their first meeting over at the Disney Parks Blog.

* ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas movies schedule: I love Christmas, and I love movies about Christmas even more.  If you're like me, visit this link from ABC Family where you can download their 25 Days of Christmas movie schedule.  (I'm freeing up space on my DVR as we speak.)  The first movie is on Sunday, December 1st, with the classic Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  The PERFECT way to kick off the holiday season!

Oh, and one more thing - - be sure to keep an eye on the blog tomorrow, Saturday November 23rd, as I announce a giveaway to celebrate the release of Disney's Frozen!  Who doesn't love free stuff?!
