Those Disney Abbreviations - What Do They Mean?

If you've spent any time on a Disney fan website or have talked to a Disney fan, you'll notice sometimes we forget that other people aren't on our "obsessed" level and we talk in codes and acronyms that sound like nonsense to the average listener.  Well, never fear - I'm looking out for you, and have prepared a list below of some of the most common Disney abbreviations!  We'll delve into some of these further on subsequent posts.

ADR: Advanced Dining Reservation

AK: Animal Kingdom (Theme Park)

AP: Annual Pass

CM: Cast Member

DCL: Disney Cruise Line

DDP: Disney Dining Plan

DL: Disneyland

DVC: Disney Vacation Club

FP+: FastPass+, Disney's new system of making FastPass reservations at the Disney parks.

HS: Hollywood Studios (Theme Park - to me, it will still and forever be MGM Studios!)

MDE: My Disney Experience, an online feature where you can see all of your vacation info at a glance and also schedule dining and fast pass reservations.

MK: Magic Kingdom (Theme Park)

MNSSHP: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

MVMCP: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

WDW: Walt Disney World
